Steve Johnson brings more than 40 years of construction experience, including over 25 years focused on federal contracting and Department of Defense quality control. Starting his career hands-on in the field, he developed a deep understanding of how systems are built and how quality is achieved—knowledge that continues to guide every project.

Steve is known for his methodical, calm leadership, providing clarity on complex federal requirements and ensuring teams stay aligned, accountable, and compliant. He specializes in US Government Quality Control processes, including preconstruction requirements, Quality Control Plans, submittal management, 3-phase inspections, special 3rd party inspections, and coordination with government authorities.

Expertise & Credentials

He holds a Journeyman Electrical License, a Master of Science in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. His certifications include USACE CQCM, EM-385-1-1, and OSHA 30, along with experience using Procore and federal construction management software systems such as RMS and eCMS.
